Glen Abbey Community
The Glen Abbey community is a section of Oakville Ontario north of the QEW Highway between Dundas, Dorval and Bronte road. There are several new home developments in the area and it is constantly evolving so that roads are being widened or have been widened along major arteries including Third Line and now Upper Middle Road and Bronte Road. Even the QEW highway is being widened to avoid the bottleneck traffic that recent growth has helped to cause.
With all of the new streets and wider highway, the area should be able to accommodate the growth. Even the 300 year old tree on Bronte road was spared so the road design actually goes around the very old and historic tree.
