Some of the classic features of this relatively difficult and high end golf course include descending into the "valley holes" beginning with the 12th tee. There in the valley of the beautiful 16 Mile Creek, the course is in it's most natural setting. Some of the memorable plays on this course included Tiger Woods getting himself out of the bunker on the 18th hole with a 218 yard setup with his 6-iron for birdie for the Canadian Open victory, and where Vijay Singh edged out Mike Weir.
Facilities include the putting and chipping green, driving range, restaurant, golf academy and golf lessons, club rentals and even banquet facilities, meeting and seminar rooms.
Of the 33+ million Canadians, 21% play golf; that means about 6 million Canadians take time out to enjoy golf according to the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) and of these, there are over 2 million golfers in Ontario.
