The lovely Glen Abbey community is located about a 30 minute drive from downtown Toronto 
and about a 1 hour drive from Niagara Falls. From the famous Glen Abbey Golf Course to countless trails for walking, biking, hiking or even photography, there is lots to do and plenty of infrastructure including fine restaurants and the quaint ambience of nearby downtown Oakville.
If heading to the Glen Abbey Golf Course on the QEW, exit the QEW Highway at Dorval Drive and go North past the North Service Road. The entrance is at a stoplight on the right (Old Abbey). If you get to Upper Middle Road, you have gone too far.
-on the QEW near Third Line and Bronte Road - n.B. watch out for that QEW traffic during rush hour when planning any inbound or outbound trips to the area! - The QEW Highway is currently undergoing widening throughout this area to relieve some of the rush hour congestion.
Getting on the QEW heading Eastbound from Glen Abbey, Oakville brings you to Toronto city and the Gardiner Expressway.
