Summertime means swimming in Glen Abbey. The Oakville community has several indoor and outdoor pools to help relax, have fun and provide affordable recreation for the whole family.

Town pools offer recreation and lessons too. Check with your local pool for recreational swim schedules and admission fees, or take the kids to one of the community parks and splashpads.

Water Smart Wednesdays
The outdoor pools played host to Water Smart Wednesdays all summer long last year, so inquire about this year's activities and themed games.

Novice Swim Meet
This year, the 42nd annual Novice Swim Meet will be held on Tuesday August 28 at Brookdale Pool. Participants need to be preregistered in the novice program in order to participate in the swim meet.
